Clarity - Coachscott Website Update Feb 10, 2023

No real updates this week to the website. But, I wanted to clarify a few things about the schedule now that I have had a chance to experience a full week of it.

First, I don't think I will be able to write a short story every week. But, I think I can write one every other week. So, I figure what I can do is alternate between uploading a short story and a short story outline on Fridays. For example, Feb 5 I uploaded 'The Artist,' Feb 12 I will be uploading the outline for 'The Artist.' Feb 19 I am hoping to have completed a new short story called 'The Ice Bowl,' and then on Feb 26th I plan to follow up with the outline of 'The Ice Bowl.' This gives me a week to outline a new story and a week to write the story

from the outline. I think this will be good writing practice as well.

Second, I haven't decided how to prioritize the editing of Orangutan Island. I think for now it's more important that I continue writing and reviewing so I can get a clearer idea of what I think is"Good writing before trying to turn that story into good writing. If I have time in the week I will try to include an update on OI but for now don't expect constant updates

The only other thing to mention is that I am working on reorganizing the website. Ideally I want to have a catalogue of short stories, short story outlines, Orangutan Island chapters, outlines, edits, blog posts, writing updates, book reviews, and audiobook reviews. And, I want it all to be searchable by date, author, series, etc. This will involve a lot of manual entry but before that I need to figure out how best to organize it on the front page. I don't want it to be confusing but there's a lot of info to sort through. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
