All Systems Red - Martha Wells Audiobook Review

3/5 I didn’t love this. The characters were interesting, they felt like real people. The worldbuilding was good, I wanted to know more. The plot was structured well and the ending was satisfying. I just wasn’t very engaged with the story, the stakes didn’t seem very high. This is the first in a series, I think this is a situation where reading the sequels will leave me with a better appreciation of this first story. But, in a vacuum I just didn’t love it even though I wanted to. 3/5
